Alpaca Ontario organized their fourth annual Full Fleece and Halter Show in Orangeville, Ontario in April of 2005. Andre’s Alpacas entered three males in the show. Largo and Auregon each earned a third place ribbon while Torzido earned a fourth placement. This recognition has encouraged us immensely. We now look forward to using these males in our breeding program. We were blessed in 2005 with all female crias. We look forward to the 2006 generation of alpacas.

Alpaca Canada had it's first AGM in Toronto November 2006 and along with the meeting was a fleece and yarn compition. We entered spun yarn from Lavita and came away with a first place ribbon. Lavita has great fibre stats, with her cria at 18.8 microns and her two year old fleece at 17.9 We are very pleased with the results of the spun yarn we had processed this year from our alpacas.
